Safety and Use of LLLT for Pediatric Populations

With an extensive background in integrative medicine and a member of various neurosurgery teams specializing in monitoring and mapping brain and spinal cord surgeries, Dr. Marc Funderlich brings a new angle to the field of laser medicine.  With pediatric health as his true passion, the objective of this course is to introduce doctors to key concepts in pediatric populations.  He will highlight not only bone growth and pediatric physiology, but also review literature across different pediatric disorders including neurologic, musculoskeletal and common infantile disorders such as the inability to feed.  Dr. Funderlich’s clinic case studies will outline pedantic and infantile specific disorders and also those he is most commonly presented with in his clinic.  This class will prove non-thermal laser technology provides a positive impact and is safe for use in children.  Attendees will leave feeling empowered to not only care for their own children’s wellbeing but help the children in their practice victoriously.

Empowering the Body: A Lite Approach to A Better You

This course is a review of conventional medical wisdom and how minds need to be more open in modern day practice. We will cover key influences in the way we practice as clinicians and how patients respond as they, and we, age.  What do we know, or think we know, about cellular aging and the processes our bodies go through as we age or become unwell, and how we can potentially offset the effects of this?  Recent research over the past 5 years turns a lot of what we think we know on the head so we as clinicians need to open our minds. The mitochondria in our bodies are not just the powerhouse of the cell, they effect a lot more than we think. There is older research and new research into the non-thermal low level laser (NTLLL) to give us an understanding of what this remarkable technology is capable of.  What if our bodies have everything we need for a happy healthy life, we just need to provide the missing energy?
